Agriculture Section

The Foreign Agricultural Service assists U.S. exporters in selling their products overseas. The office at the U.S. Embassy in Canberra provides an important link between U.S. exporters seeking information on the Australian market and Australian importers looking for suppliers of high quality, wholesome and safe food and agricultural products from the United States.

The office also plays a key role in managing the agricultural component of the U.S./Australian bilateral relationship, making sure that issues of concern to producers of food and fibre are pursued.
